The Lamest Eclipse Photo on the Internet
I set my alarm for 2:30 a.m. last night to see the lunar eclipse in action. I took a photo from my back deck using a camera entirely ill-suited for the task (a Canon PowerShot A95). Click on the image for a larger view -- you can see a bite out of the moon, honest you can!
I awoke again at 3:30 a.m. to view the full eclipse. Frankly, the partial eclipse was more impressive; in the full eclipse, the moon was a muddy reddish brown.
